CAR RACING

Volunteers in Motorsport provides you with a way to become involved as a Marshal at car races, covering all types of cars from standard road cars to Formula One, the action is fast & furious and you can see them all.

With 17 permanent circuits located around the country there is bound to be something happening at a circuit near you.

Getting involved as a Race Marshal offers you an outdoor activity as a hobby that gets you close to the racing action, keeps you fully involved, offers a variety of jobs to do and is truly rewarding.

The 750 Motor Club was formed in the spring of 1939 to promote the use of the Austin Seven in road and trials events. Since then the Seven has been the backbone of the club as it provided the basis of the first club formula – the 750 Formula – which is still thriving. A number of the members are involved in sporting trials and the club runs a national championship for both 750MC Trials Formula and National Trials Car Formula vehicles.

The ACOC exists to promote the preservation and enjoyment of all the different models built by the AC company from 1903. We arrange a series of events annually, including the National Day and Concours in the summer, an international meet, a sprint at the historic Goodwood Circuit in the autumn and various other runs and gatherings. There is also an AC scratch race at the Bentley Drivers Club Silverstone Race Meeting every August, and members compete at other events including the Goodwood Revival and the Le Mans Classic.

Anglesey Circuit (Trac Môn) was opened during 1997 as a fully licensed MSA (Motor Sport Association) championship racing circuit. Anglesey Circuit not only hosts spectacular car racing, but also a varied programme of other motor sport disciplines, particularly noteworthy is the British Rallycross Championship event, plus Stage Rallies and Car Sprints. The circuit has also become an important test and track day facility for many top racing organisations, including British Formula 3 teams and many of the leading track day organisers.
