HILLCLIMBS

Sprints and hillclimbs involve competitors pitting their skills against the clock on challenging courses, in cars ranging from standard production, home made Specials to ex-Formula 1.

Pure speed and handling along tracks narrower than most country lanes and close proximity to officials and spectators makes for a very exciting event.

These are the sort of event that you can really feel part of, chat to the competitors and are an excellent way to get into the sport.

The Club’s Grading Scheme was adopted by the MSA and now provides the basis for the National Grading Scheme. With over 2000 members the BMMC and its subsidiary, the British Rally Marshals Club (BRMC), continue to facilitate the provision of marshals and officials at all classes of motorsport in the UK. The BMMC is The Marshals Club; it is owned and run by marshals for marshals. The Club’s activities are co-ordinated by a National Council and managed locally by seven Regional Committees, all made up of volunteers.
